A friendly local public house for all the family. The Horse and Harrow has an extensive beer garden for adults and children alike to enjoy, a particular asset of the pub during the warm summer months. The children will no doubt enjoy the fun play area and are usually fond of the nine hole crazy golf course situated behind the pub- clubs and balls available from the bar! The bar itself consists of three main areas, the bar itself, the quieter end room- complete with county standard bar-billiards table and the pool room, with brand new pool table (as of Tue 15th June 2004) and fun golf machine. The juke box is also well updated and constantly changed. Food is available Monday to Friday between the hours of 12 till 2 lunchtimes, the menu consisting of proper pub food, ranging from scampi and chips to lasagne, minted lamb shank or spicy vegetable and pork spring rolls- all at an excellent price. Also available are fresh, thickly cut sandwiches, warm baguettes and all the usual things you would expect- by which I mean burger and chips, hot dogs etc. A particular favourite amongst regulars is the gammon ham, egg and chips- at only £5.10 its popular, not least because we use only freshly cooked thickly sliced ham.

The landlord and landlady will always make you welcome, as will the barstaff who are ready to serve a wide range of draught beers and cask ales. Current cask ales include Greene King IPA, Morlands Original and for those that like something a tiny bit stronger, Greene King Abbot Ale. Other available draught beers include, Fosters lager, Dry Blackthorn Cider, Guinness and Guinness Extra Cold, Krounenbourg 1664, Ruddles County Smooth, Strongbow cider and Greene King XX Mild. Opening times are as you would expect, 11 till 11 weekdays and Saturdays, and 12 till 10.30pm Sundays. The pub is open all day.
