Guys best bet is dont both with their appeals proccess, I had similar to you above, the letter did not say I HAD to park elsewhere, so anyway I used HM courts service online, basically you can take them to small claims court from the comfort of your computer chair, pay the £30 fee and after the court serves them notice I got the 3 months charge back and the fine. If everyone did this they would have to cease what they are doing. I would additionally reccomend a complaint to trading standards.
